Jimmy Blair
Born and raised in Columbia, CT, Jimmy has always been a storyteller and filmmaker. Not only would stage stories and battles in his room as a child, but he became the lead editor for his highschool's weekly newscast. After moving to Orlando, FL to pursue these passions in his studies for a Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Jimmy became a Federal WorkStudy Paid-Intern for Full Sail University's Final Film (APN) Dept. He was able to log hundreds of hours organizing the Department's sound stages, lighting, and camera equipment while working over 20 productions as Director of Photography, Gaffer, Best Boy, Key Grip, Grip/Swing, 2nd Ac, Camera Utility, and Film Loader during his studies. Through the many roles in various productions throughout his studies, Jimmy has an unrelenting passion for lighting and understanding the physics of Grip and Electric, but is a cinematographer at heart. Since graduating in 2018, Jimmy has moved up to Decatur, GA, working with the area's industry professionals and connections from school, Gaffing and gripping productions with his ever-expanding GnE package. He strives to work with clients, producers, and directors/DPs on every level of production to secure the best possible outcome for the production.
